Title: Deadly Attack by Islamists on U.S. Embassy in Yemen – 16 Dead

Summary
On Wednesday September17th, 16 people were killed in an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen. The Islamic Jihad in Yemen took responsibility for first firing at the guard with heavy guns, blowing a car up in the entrance of the compound and the series of explosions that followed. All in all, six of the attackers were killed, together with six Yemeni soldiers and four civilians. It was the second strike on the U.S. Embassy in Yemen in six months.

Analysis
This article may show, what a lot of people in western countries think about Islamists. They’re attacking buildings and killing people, because their religion tells them to do so. Like you can see in this article there are really some Muslims that attack others, but that’s a little minority. They often choose important buildings like the U.S Embassy at get the attention of the country. Most of the Muslim attackers aren’t scared to blow themselves up, because they think they do it for their religion. They often tell that they have been responsible for the attack because they want to get attention and show that they don’t agree with the policy of the country and because they want the country to be afraid of them. The more attention they get and the scared they get the people the better for getting what they want.
